Ahem. There is a partially downed e...If you insist. Ahem. There is a partially downed elm tree in my backyard, right next to the back corner of the fence. The two little dogs figured out a way to climb this tree and get over the fence into two different neighbors' yards. I do not like to be considered a nuisance by these very nice people. One morning I let the dogs out and was watching to call them back if they entered the forbidden zone. Brando was up that tree trunk in nothing flat, so I ran across the yard, lunged to catch him, and slammed into the tree trunk at the same time that I grabbed him by the tail, dragged him back down the tree trunk by the tail, held him upsidedown by the tail until I could hook a finger into his collar. Did it hurt him? I don't really care.
